If you have a sore or wound that hasn't started to heal in a month, or healed entirely in two months, the Wound Care Center at Northern Nevada Medical Center can help. The Wound Care Center provides advanced treatment, including two hyperbaric chambers for oxygen therapy, to treat slow- and non-healing wounds.

The Wound Care Center at NNMC recently received the Center of Excellence Award for the third consecutive year and the Center of Distinction Award for Quality Patient Care. The Wound Care Center has been recognized by Healogics Inc. every year since 2012 for the following outstanding patient outcomes:

Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO2) therapy provides high-pressure oxygen in a pressurized cylinder, called a hyperbaric chamber.
