The Wound Care Center®
The Wound Care Center at Northern Nevada Medical Center offers advanced treatment using leading edge scientific advances in wound care, including two hyperbaric chambers for stubborn wounds that require oxygen therapy. The Wound Care Center is a hospital-based outpatient service staffed by a multidisciplinary team of doctors and nurses who focus on treating non-healing wounds. How Non-healing Wounds Are Treated
Northern Nevada Medical Center offers a variety of treatment options, depending on the type and severity of non-healing wounds. Your treatment may include the following therapies:
- Infectious disease management
- Physical therapy
- Vascular evaluation
- Laboratory evaluation
- Nutritional management
- Pain management
- Diabetic education
- Nuclear medicine
- Radiology
- Debridement (removal of dead or infected tissue)
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO2) therapy provides high-pressure oxygen in a pressurized cylinder, called a hyperbaric chamber.

Medical Director for Wound Care
Todd Inman, MD, is board certified in family medicine and wound care. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. He practices wound care and hyperbaric medicine at the Wound Care Center.
