Family Medicine Provider John Watson, MD and Cardiologist Kosta Arger, MD Join NNMG
Northern Nevada Medical Group (NNMG) announced the addition of long-time community cardiologist, Kosta Arger, MD and well-respected local internal medicine provider, John Watson, MD. The providers join a growing network of family, internal and specialty medicine providers serving the Reno-Sparks area.
“Our goal this year has been to add established providers to our growing primary and specialty care network,” said Karla Pambogo, RN, MBA, Market Director of Northern Nevada Medical Group. “These two additions support our desire to expand access to care while ensuring patients continue to receive year-round care.”

Kosta Arger, MD completed residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and later a cardiology fellowship from the University of California, Davis. He is well-established in our community and has served the region for nearly 36 years. Dr. Arger has long supported heart and vascular disease in the community by serving on the American Heart Association® board, dedicating numerous hours to community education, as well as prior hosting a PBS television show, Cooking from the Heart.
John Watson, MD attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine and went on to complete an internal medicine residency from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. He has practiced in the area for 16 years and held numerous leadership positions at a local health system. Dr. Watson is passionate about patient experience and ensuring his patients’ long-term health is well managed. Dr. Watson will see patients at 6630 S. McCarran Blvd., Bldg. C, Suite 202 in Reno.
