Northern Nevada Medical Center Names Chief Financial Officer James McCurley to its Executive Hospital Leadership Team
Northern Nevada Medical Center (NNMC) has announced James McCurley, FACHE, FHFMA, CPA, CMA, as Chief Financial Officer. McCurley brings 19 years of financial and managerial accounting experience, including seven years in executive healthcare leadership.
“James is well-versed in the complexities of healthcare finance and will be a great resource to inform our continued expansion in the market,” said Helen Lidholm, Chief Executive Officer at Northern Nevada Medical Center. “As we continue growing hospital operations including the opening of Northwest Specialty Hospital and the development of the ER at North Valleys, James will be an invaluable asset to our executive team.”
James earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physics from California State University, Fresno. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics, specializing in computational data analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. James is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is a certified management accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants and a certified public accountant (CPA) through the California Board of Accountancy.
