Northern Nevada Medical Group Names Medical Director to Lead Provider Team
Northern Nevada Medical Group (NNMG) recently announced the promotion of family medicine provider Amanda Magrini, MD to Medical Director. Dr. Magrini is a native Nevadan and completed family medicine residency and training at UNR Medicine.
“As our group continues to grow to better serve this region, we identified a physician leader who can elevate patient care initiatives and support recruitment of new providers,” said Karla Pambogo, RN, MBA, Market Director of Northern Nevada Medical Group. “Dr. Magrini is well respected among her peers and in the community, and we are eager to see her lead our team.”

After completing residency, Dr. Magrini obtained board certification in family medicine and has since leveraged her skills to focus on preventive medicine for all ages, birth to senior. In her new role, Dr. Magrini will focus on population health and value-based care initiatives. She will also be responsible for engaging her colleagues and onboarding new providers to the group.
