Northern Nevada Medical Center Welcomes New Chief Executive Officer

Northern Nevada Medical Center, affiliated with Northern Nevada Health System, has announced Erin Little, MPH, as the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer. She joins System CEO Jordan Herget, FACHE, who continues to lead the growing network of care.

Little has an extensive healthcare leadership background working for Valley Health System in Las Vegas, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer at Henderson Hospital, and previously at Valley Hospital. During this time, she led major construction projects while overseeing the operations for clinical and ancillary departments along with the hospital’s two freestanding emergency departments. She was responsible for supporting the hospital’s quality council, partnering with the executive leadership team to implement an annual strategic plan, and serving as the Chief Staffing Officer managing labor and productivity. In her new role, Little will focus on advancing key service lines, improving operational efficiency and championing teamwork across every level of the organization.

Before her executive leadership roles, Little worked with HCA Healthcare in Las Vegas and in California. She earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Arizona.
